The topic for this event will be a recent special issue of the journal Religions, titled "'Love Jihad': Sexuality, Reproduction and the Construction of the Predatory Muslim Male". This issue explores so-called "Love Jihad", the notion that Muslim men strategically allure and entrap non-Muslim women with the intent to marry and convert them to Islam as part of an Islamization project. This special issue is linked to the INTERSECT research project. The speakers at the event will be Iselin Frydenlund (MF) and Eviane Leidig (C-REX/ICCT).
