In this article, Kaja Jenssen Rathe problematize the concept of rationality as educational ideal through the use of feminist philosophy. She offers an alternative concept of rationality as educational ideal based on her reading of Catherine Malabou’s work on plasticity, epigenesis, and rationality. And explores the ontological and normative dimensions of this new concept of rationality through Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s concept of “hyper-dialectics.”
